With the award-winning FAMU News 20, I serve as an acting news director and mentor to our students. Through this course, I teach students the importance of multi-media writing, editing and producing. I assist students with learning the ins and outs of a newscast production and how to use proper news judgement. While taking my course, students learn how to edit using Final Cut Pro, the proper usage of ENPS, how to become better on-air personalities and more. In my role, I also help students shoot, edit and write weekly news packages. I help student producers find ways to make their newscasts creatively different from other student ran newscasts across the globe.
